OUR FORMER PLAYERS WHERE ARE  THEY NOW

Player: Harry Gregory
Born:   Buckurst Hill 24/10/1943
Position: Midfield/ Forward
Charlton Debut: Bolton Wanderers home 20/08/1966
Managers: Bob Stokoe, Eddie Firmani, Theo Foley

Harry is a regular visitor at The Valley. A very popular player in the 1960/70 seasons, Harry is now retired and enjoys good health after a couple of operations on his knees. Always welcome at our home games and enjoys a banter with his old mates . Now lives in Chelmsford.

Player: Peter Reeves
Born: Eltham South London 07/02/1949
Position: Midfield
Charlton Debut: Norwich City Home 18/05/1966
Managers: Bob Stokoe, Eddie Firmani, Theo Foley, Andy Nelson

Peter moved to Spain a few years ago but often comes home and visits The Valley. He keeps in touch via email and always watches a game when he is over. Peter always looks well - maybe its that lovely sun.

Player: Vinnie O'Kane
Born: Mile End London 20/11/1952
Position:Midfield
Charlton Debut: Birmingham City Home 24/03/1973
Managers: Eddie Firmani, Theo Foley

Vinnie has now started to come back to The Valley after quite an absence. He is now a regular visitor and has turned out for the Vets team on a couple of occasions. Pulled a muscle against Chelsea Vets a few months ago and is taking it easy. Vinnie has his own businesses and works very hard to maintain them.

Player: Keith Hayward
Born: 21/11/1951
Position: Goalkeeper
Charlton Debut: Bolton Wanderers 14th/12/1968
Managers: Bob Stokoe, Eddie Firmani

Keith was a season ticket holder at Charlton for many years, a keen golfer he now spends his Saturdays playing his beloved golf. Still makes the odd game at the valley. He has started to turn out for the vets and put in a couple of great performances in our recent trip to Greece. Keith works in a managers capacity for Edf Energy. Keith always had a smile on his face as a youngster and still has now.
