The Charlton Vets are playing a game at Welling utd on the 16th May against the fans.....

It was great on saturday, Harry Gregory, Denis Bond, Theo Foley, Brian Kinsey John Dunn, Kieth Peacock and my self sitting around the crossbar lounge talking about old times, only needed a few more and we would have a full side!! 

Games for the vets in the pipeline.....................Charlton fans, Welling Vets Folksone...

Sasa Ilic was at the Watford game..didnt last the pace, he left with ten minutes to go, said he couldnt watch it...

Peter Shaw and Francesca came to the Watford game on Saturday...

Had a great day out in Worthing. My wife and I went to visit a great pal of mine Luigi Maio and his wife Kim. Luigi was an apprentice at Charlton in the late sixties. When his left Charlton he went to Italy and played for a number of clubs before returning to Worthing
We spent the day walking around town  and as Luigi is the local builder he took us  to see all the buildings he has built over the years!!
It also gave us time to chat about the past and how time flies....
It was a lovely day and we ended up in a restaurant that Luigi had built and the owner spent some time with us chatting about .....football
We have promised to keep in touch and not let to much time go by
